A Chilly Lady Susan

This might provide some idea of the weather conditions we encountered.

Even the Gulls...

Even the Seagulls were chilly.

Lady Susan and her Lightkeeper viewed this series of Lights mostly from the safety of the fuel-efficient red NCC-1701/8 shuttlecraft under the command of a relatively reliable redshirt Staff Sargent. Lady Susan has requested him as her pilot since Star Date 25084.5 (August 14, 1971). Spock had declined the voyage, as had Dr. McCoy and the usual bridge crew based on the recent voyage of the ill-fated Galileo 7.
